How to Rent a Storage Unit
First time renting? Here’s how EZ storage unit rental works:
Choose a Storage Unit Size
Decide on the size you’re interested in renting. You can rent a storage unit online or in person. If you’re not sure about sizing, you can always contact us for advice based on what you need to store.
Enter Your Information
Once you’ve chosen a unit online, you’ll enter your contact and payment information. This step can usually be completed in 90 seconds at StorEZ!
Move In Day
You’ll get an email letting you know when you can move in – it’s possible to move in on the day of your rental! Bring a valid ID to your first visit to finalize the process and sign your rental agreement. You’re set to move in after that.
What is a Self Storage Rental Agreement?
No long-term contracts here. You’ll rent month-to-month for flexibility that puts your schedule first.
Unlike renting an apartment, you don’t have to sign a contract for a set amount of time to get a storage unit. When you choose one of our storage units in Scottsdale, AZ, you’ll sign a rental agreement that explains our facility’s rules and policies. But you’re not stuck renting with us.
Store for a month, for years, or as much time as you need. Even if you don’t have a plan going in, you won’t have to pay a fee when you’re ready to go. Rent a storage unit online today and stay flexible with month-to-month rentals!

What to Expect When Renting
Not sure how to pack your storage unit or worried about how to make use of the space? Get help from our self storage experts!
You can use a moving cart to transport your belongings to a storage unit without needing to carry them
Elevators are available for moving your belongings to the upper floors
Add shelving from a home improvement store to access more of the vertical space in your storage unit
Leave an aisle in your unit so you can access your stored items easier
Store boxes with the labels facing out, with heavier items on the bottom
Most items will condense into smaller spaces, so if you’re storing a full room’s worth of items you may not need as much space as the whole room
